the Antwerp dispensary |

The Prince Laurent Foundation has opened a third dispensary in the Flemish Region in Antwerp, furnished with the most advanced veterinary equipment on 15th September 2001 in a former public building.
The initiative of the Foundation was the logic consequence of an opportunity which presented itself to occupy no longer required and therefore abandoned premises , but also a location corresponding to another condition required for any dispensary, namely easy access to public transportation. All these conditions being met the decision to create a new dispensary quickly followed. It was named Nello
en Patrasche, an initiative which would soon prove to be successful and fertile. |

The dispensary which has already demonstrated its usefulness, will henceforth be in a position to meet the needs of the most destitute people of the Antwerp region, as before it, its elders in Brussels and Seraing have shown. |
The team of the Antwerp dispensary consists of a veterinary doctor and assistant, an administrative secretary and some volunteers for the reception and to help the clients.
More than 25.000 animals received care since the opening of the dispensary. |
